PSAT Registration has begun this week. All juniors in the Class of 2011 are encouraged to take the Preliminary SAT. Sophomores in honors English and/or math are also encouraged to take the PSAT. The PSAT is a practice test for the SAT, which most juniors take in May.
The deadline for signing up for the PSAT's is October 9th. The cost is $25.00. Late registration, which runs from October 13th until October 15th is $35.00 and the walk-in fee is $45.00. The test date is October 17th at 7:30AM at Masconomet.
In order to register, checks made out to Masconomet or cash can be brought to Mrs. Simi in the guidance office.

AP Registration Information and AP Test Schedule
An AP pre-test session will be held on Wednesday, April 29, with all students who will be taking one or more AP Tests this spring. This session will be held at 7:45 a.m. in the small dining hall. The first AP test is Monday, May 4. The examination schedule will be available at the time of the pre-test session and will also be posted on the Guidance web page. Students are reminded to check the web page periodically for any new information. This is a mandatory session and all students taking AP exams must attend.
Junior Parents Admission/Financial Aid Night
The Junior Parents Admissions/Financial Aid Night will be held Thursday, April 2 at 7:30PM in the large dining hall. All parents of juniors are invited to attend. The program will consist of a presentation by Susan Garrity-Ardizzoni, Director of Admissions at Tufts University. There will also be a question and answer session with your child's guidance counselor.

Each year, the U.S. JCI Senate Foundation grants $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools. Applications must be postmarked no later than January 8, 2009.
